1. Who operates the service
CNWattHub operates the CNWattHub website and mobile applications. Privacy and data-rights requests can be sent to contact@cnwatthub.com.
2. Data we process
- Account data: email address, authentication identifier, display name, and sign-in provider.
- Subscription data: membership tier, subscription status, renewal date, and Stripe customer/subscription identifiers. CNWattHub does not store full card numbers or CVV codes.
- Technical and security data: IP address, device/browser information, request time, and service logs generated by our hosting and security providers.
3. Why we use data
We use data to authenticate users, deliver public and subscribed content, verify entitlements, operate account security, respond to support and deletion requests, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information and do not use mobile-app data for cross-app advertising.
4. Service providers and transfers
- Supabase — authentication, database, and server functions (Tokyo, Japan).
- Stripe — web subscription and payment processing.
- Google — optional OAuth sign-in when enabled.
These providers may process data outside the user's country or region. We limit shared data to what is necessary for the service.
5. Retention and deletion
Account and profile data is kept while the account remains active. Users can initiate deletion in the mobile app, use the web account-deletion page, or contact us by email. We remove or de-identify account data after processing the request, except where transaction, fraud-prevention, security, or legal records must be retained.
Deletion requests are recorded for processing and audit purposes. Backups are removed through the hosting provider's normal rotation cycle.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, users may request access, correction, export, restriction, objection, or deletion of personal data. We may need to verify the requester's identity before acting.
7. Security and children
We use encrypted transport, access controls, and row-level database security. We take reasonable measures to protect personal data, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
CNWattHub is a professional energy-information service and is not directed to children under 16. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal data.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. Material changes will be shown on this page with a revised date.
